Legion of Honor

The Legion of Honor has a replica of its Paris namesake while having a collection spanning four millennia of history. It has masterpieces of European art from Medieval times into the 20th century, many Rodin bronzes, prints and drawings. Furthermore, the Fine Arts Museum supports school visits and has programs that are offered free of charge. The School Programs enable students to develop an understanding of art in creative and historical contexts. In addition, there is also is a spectacular musical organ right inside the museum. The Skinner Organ was created by one of America’s most distinguished organ builders. Take a journey into the ancient times of medieval history.
