Ghirardelli Square is a charming restaurant and shopping center with open-air plazas and waterfront views. The iconic Ghirardelli sign, the mermaid fountain, and the collection of red brick buildings identify the chocolate factory. There are a lot of shops and some that you won’t find anywhere else. Shops such as The HELPERS BAZAAR run by international style icon and philanthropist, Joy Bianchi. Also, Lola of North Beach is a San Francisco favorite for greeting cards and gifts. Yet the most precious thing at the square has to be the ice cream shop. Guests will find desserts like sundaes and mouth-watering brain-freezing chocolate milkshakes.
