The Walt Disney Family Museum
The Walt Disney Family Museum is owned and managed by the Walt Disney Family Foundation. This museum honors and celebrates the works and legacy of the iconic artist and entrepreneur of the 20th century. We’re talking about someone who almost singlehandedly revolutionized the television and film industry in America. Walt Disney can be credited with the creation of a completely new genre and has produced movies such as the Lion King and Tron Legacy. Furthermore, The Walt Disney Family Museum is one of the most popular places to visit in San Francisco. No list of San Francisco attractions can ever be complete without the museum finding its rightful place on it. Walt Disney Family Museum is located at 104 Montgomery Street in The Presidio and it remains open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. six days every week except Tuesday. They are closed on Christmas, New Year’s Day and Thanksgiving.
